Treva Lee McClanahan Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Treva Lee (Williams) McClanhan Treva was the only child born from the union of Virginia (Virgie) Moore and Floyd David Williams on the 24th of September 1933, in Taos New Mexico. She stepped into glory on Friday morning the 9th of October 2015 in Henryetta at the age of 82 years, 15 days. She married the love of her life, David Charles Andrews on January 15, 1954 and they had 2 sons, Michael S Andrews and Don L Andrews. Treva moved to the Henryetta area after the death of her husband and lived a life of joy and happiness with her family and friends. She was involved with Senior Citizens and attended the Church of Christ with her dear friend Mr. Ed Hall. Treva is preceded in death by her parents, 2 Brothers; Orville G Shaffer and Dariel D Williams and a sister Paulette Teague. Survived by her sons; Don Andrews and wife DeRhonda of Henryetta and Mike Andrews and wife Janie of Eufaula,OK 4 Grandchildren: Felicia Andrews-Arnhols and husband Nick, Nick Andrews, Brandon Andrews and wife Jennifer and Tammy Evans and husband Shan. 8 Great Grandchildren: Mattisen Hamric, Makayla Baxter, Lukas Hamric, Aydon Andrews, Sheldon Andrews, Ariana Andrews and Kambree Andrews all of Henryetta and Brycin Andrews of Tyler,TX A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 15th, 2015 at Rogers Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Treva was diagnosed with Alzheimer Disease several years ago and struggled daily the last couple of years of her life. This disease is most devastating for a family as they watch their loved one lose all memories and no longer have the ability to communicate with the simplest request. Treva remained joyful and would love to yodel on request, even though she didn’t recognize her family.
