Peck Mangrum a resident of Pharaoh, Ok passed away on September 5, 2014 in Claremore, Ok at the age of 95. Born December 9, 1918 in Mulberry, Arkansas to Fred and Rebecca (Satterfield) Mangrum. Peck retired from the Smelter Plant and was a member of the Church of Christ in Henryetta. Peck loved life and people, visiting patients in the nursing homes and when it came to gardening there was no one like him! He would harvest his vegetables and take them to the senior citizens to share with all. He was an avid fisherman and a well known quail hunter. He is preceded in death by his first wife of 61 years, Bonnie Griffin, she passed away on October 8, 1999 and his second wife Peggy Quinton in Feb of 2003. Brothers: Brownie Mangrum, Chess Mangrum Jack Mangrum and Joe Mynhier. Sisters; Ruth Elam, Hazel Clark, Emma Banta and Claudine Griffin. 3 Step brothers: Gene, Thurman and Manny Jones, A grandson Kyle Hentges and step mother Aulcey Mangrum. Survived by his daughters: Margie Kerr of Sandsprings, OK, Mary Spurling and husband Dean of Pharaoh,OK, Beth Wallace and Husband Tom of Henryetta and Debbie Wallace and husband Jerry of Oologah,OK. 8 Grandchildren 17 Great Grandchildren 8 Great Great Grandchildren Many nieces and nephews and friends everywhere Sister; Eva Robertson of Moore, OK. Funeral service is 2:00 pm, Monday, September 8, 2014 at the Church of Christ. Interment will follow at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Weleetka, Ok. Services under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
