James Paul Bailey

James “Jim” Paul Bailey a resident of Henryetta passed away on September 16, 2015 in Tulsa, Ok at the age of 77. Born November 20, 1937 in St Louis, MO to Kirby and Helen (O’Hara) Bailey. Jim served with the US Coast Guard for 23 years having served at various stations in New London, Ct, New York, San Diego and Hawaii. He retired with the rank of CWO3. He retired as a Hospital Administrator , his last hospital was with the Henryetta Medical Center. He was a member of St Michaels Catholic Church and the Henryetta Lions Club. One of Jim’s hobbies was reading the newspaper from cover to cover. He is preceded in death by his parents, Brothers; David and John Bailey and Sisters: Marie and Helen Bailey. Survived by his wife Jan of the home Son: Kirby Bailey II of Okmulgee Daughter Jackie Holt and husband Dearl of Broken Bow Step son: Darryl Brosam of the home Granddaughters: Taryn Dirie and hus Christopher of LaJolla, CA Autum McLean and hus Josh of Ft Bragg, NC Chelsea Holt Hodges and husband Justin of Plano, TX Mandee Brosam Rodriquez and husband Jerry of OKC Sisters: Dorothy Chambers and hus George of Chicago Rose Bailey of Imperial MO Brother: Harold Bailey of Imperial, MO Half Brother: Arthur Bailey, Half Sisters; Dorothy Mae Bailey and Marjorie Bailey all of Cook County, ILL. Family will receive guest at the Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00pm Funeral Mass will be 2:00 pm, Monday, September 21, 2015 at St Michaels Catholic Church with Father Peter Phung, Officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by the US Coast Guard Honor Team under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
