Gaylene Gordon Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Gaylene Gordon a resident of Milfay, Ok passed away on May 24, 2015 in Henryetta at the age of 51. Born March 8, 1964 in Henryetta to W.C. and Linda (Sweet) Pippin. She worked for the US Postal service as a rural route carrier. Gaylene was a member of the Church of the Firstborn. She was baptized on July 1, 1980 in Dolores, Colorado by Bro James Morris. Gaylene strove to be a light to those that she was around. She loved the Lord and singing praises to him. A very proud moment in Gaylene's life was seeing all of her kids be baptized and give their life to Christ. Gaylene enjoyed many things in life. She loved cooking for her family and kids. She enjoyed camping with friends and family and playing games. In 2008 she became a grandmother. She found such a great joy in being a "nanny" and spoiling her grandkids. She is preceded in death by her father and a brother Russell “Rusty” Pippin. Survived by her husband: Melvin Gordon of Milfay, Ok Children: Dustin Gordon and wife Kayla of Vici, OK Amber Cole and husband Preston of Sapulpa Rusty Gordon and wife Rebecca of Milfay, Ok Grandchidren: Jazmyne, Bentley and Genni Jo Cole and Jett Grodon Mother: Linda Pippin of Henryetta Brothers: Rodney Pippin of Bartlesville and Jarrett Pippin of Henryetta Sister: Kara Tomlinson of Moore Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Tuesday Evening at the Church of the First Born in Sapulpa, OK. Funeral service will be 10:00am, Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at the Church of the First Born in Sapulpa, Ok (1345 E Cleveland). Interment will be at the Parkland Cemetery under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
