Clinton L Tomlinson

Clinton Leon Tomlinson a resident of Henryetta passed away on April 3, 2012 in Henryetta at the age of 87. Born October 12, 1924 in Henryetta to Walter and Cathryn (Sneed) Tomlinson. He was a veteran of WWII serving with the Army and Retired from PPG Industries in 1986 after 43 years. He married Rosana Fraser on May 29, 1943 and was soon to celebrate 69 years of marriage. Clinton was a charter member of the Immanuel Baptist Church where he was ordained as a Deacon at the age of 29. He was a member of the Henryetta First Baptist Church, Maverick Sunday School Class, American Legion, Hawg Hunters Bass Club and an avid fan of Chicago Cubs baseball team. Preceded in death are his parents, 3 brothers; Raymond, Albert and Leonard Tomlinson and 2 sisters; Arnetes Ingold and Sharron Savage. Survived by his wife Rosana Tomlinson of the home Sons: Kenny Tomlinson and wife Ruth of Henryetta Jon Tomlinson and wife Kathy of Eufaula, OK Daughter: Dawna Davis and husband Beryl of Henryetta Grandchildren: Sean and Stephanie Tomlinson of Choctaw Shelly and Audie Stout of Glenpool Ben and Micah Davis of Owasso Ryan and Lorrie Tomlinson of Glenpool Step Granddaughters: Megan and Ashley Montgomery of Oklahoma City Great Grandchildren: Lindsay and Reed Stout of Glenpool Brendan and Aidan Tomlinson of Choctaw Elijah Tomlinson of Glenpool Maverick and Ivy Davis of Owasso Step great grandchildren: Gage and Isaac Tiger of Glenpool Sister: Judy Robertson of Henryetta Sister in laws: Lena Powell of Henryetta and Jean & Hershel Black of Greenville, TX Many nieces, nephews and friends Service will be 2:00 pm, Friday, April 6, 2012 at the Henryetta First Baptist church with Rev. Jim Paslay officiating. Interment will follow with military honors at the Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
